The Office of Diversity and Inclusion grants its University Prize for Strategic, Inclusive, and Diverse Excellence (UPSIDE) Award to outstanding University work that supports the Plan for Pitt goal to be a community that embodies diversity and inclusion as core values.

It considers such factors as innovative approaches to increasing diversity and inclusion in the University community; a consistent record of commitment and success; and creative, inspiring plans for future efforts.

Nominations for the 2019 UPSIDE Award are now open. Those interested can submit their nominations online. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Aug. 7.

Programs previously nominated but not selected are encouraged to apply again, and self-nominations are permitted.
