Donate Toys and Warm Clothing to Annual Holiday Gift Drive

Christmas Day at Pitt will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 25. Faculty and staff can register online to volunteer for the event.

This holiday season, among gifts for family and friends, consider one more to drop off at the Office of Community and Governmental Relations for its holiday gift drive, now through Friday, Dec. 13. All donated items will be distributed at this year’s Christmas Day at Pitt, the University’s annual event where meals and holiday gifts are shared with those in need, and to community partners.

In addition to hats, gloves, scarves and other warm gear for cold weather conditions, CGR requests gifts for children ages 16 and under. Gifts should be new, wrapped like presents and have gift tags reflecting information like appropriate age, gender and any other relevant details; tag pickup can be coordinated with Tami Hirth at hirth@pitt.edu.

All items can be dropped off to CGR at 710 Alumni Hall; email cgrinfo@pitt.edu with any questions or to coordinate donation pickup.
