In honor of Women’s History Month, the Swanson School of Engineering, in association with the Pitt chapter of the Society of Women Engineers, is hosting an Allies for Gender Equities series. The two-hour sessions will take place on Thursday, Feb. 28, and Friday, March 1, in Benedum Hall, and are open to faculty and staff, with a separate event for students.
The two workshops, one each for men and women, are part of the Advocates and Allies concept created by North Dakota University which provide gender-equity efforts designed specifically for academic settings. Activities will include conversations, reviews of existing research and large-group discussions.
