Nominations Open for 2018 Staff Mentor Award

Whether it’s a coworker who helps with professional development, someone who provides opportunities or assists with networking or a supportive ally, every type of mentor helps to create a positive impact.

Nominations are now being accepted for the second annual Staff Mentor Award. This Staff Council award recognizes and promotes staff connections and networks throughout the University.

The recipient will be awarded tuition compensation for the Certificate in Organizational Leadership and Ethics (COLE) program offered by the University’s Faculty and Staff Development Program. (An alternative award will be presented if the recipient has already completed the COLE certification.)

Nominations will be accepted until Monday, Nov. 5. The award recipient will be recognized at the Chancellor's Staff Recognition Ceremony, which takes place in December.

Nominees must be eligible for benefits, part-time or full-time professional employees at any of Pitt’s five campuses. Applicants must have been employed by Pitt for a minimum of one consecutive year. Staff members on a performance improvement plan are ineligible.
