Parking Donations for Citations Program Extended Through December

Pitt’s Parking Office has extended the Donations for Citations program to run through December. Donations for Citations supports Pitt Pantry, and accepts food donations as payment for parking citations issued before Nov. 1.

The program uses a tiered structure to determine how items (chosen because they are the most needed at the pantry) are accepted in lieu of parking fines:

  • $15 parking fine: one box of pasta and one jar of pasta sauce or two boxes of cereal
  • $25 parking fine: one jar of peanut butter (40 oz. minimum) and one jar of jelly (32 oz. minimum)

Donations can be brought for processing to the Parking Office which is located at 127 N. Bellefield Ave.
