University employees are invited to join Staff Council’s next general assembly meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. at Benedum Hall, Room 102.

Ron Idoko, diversity and multi-cultural program manager in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, will discuss Pitt Communities. Formerly known as employee affinity groups, Pitt Communities play a vital role in providing an inclusive environment where all are valued, included and empowered to succeed.

The meeting will feature a preview of Staff Council’s upcoming panel presentation on flexible work arrangements. Additionally, participants will learn how Pitt Day of Giving helps support Staff Council’s Professional Development Award in Honor of Ronald W. Frisch.
