From the polio vaccine to double-organ transplants, the University’s history of scientific advancement has transformed modern medicine. Pitt scientists and investigators make discoveries and breakthroughs through careful research — which isn’t possible without volunteers who participate in studies and clinical trials.
On Monday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m to 2 p.m., in the William Pitt Union Ballroom, join the Clinical and Translational Science Institute to celebrate the birthday of Jonas Salk and learn more about how faculty and staff can participate in research studies conducted by Pitt investigators.
Attendees can explore a showcase of study teams currently conducting research on campus, including the MyPaTH Story Booth 2.0, which invites patients to share experiences about health, illness and research as part of the Pitt+Me project.
