Proposals Invited for High-quality, Free-to-use Course Materials

The Office of the Provost invites faculty proposals for small grants and development funding to support the creation or adaptation of Open Educational Resources (OER), high-quality curricular materials that are free to use and allow legal permission for open use and adaptation. Of particular interest are projects that involve either core courses or those with high enrollments.

Both tenure and non-tenure faculty on all campuses may apply individually or as a team, and the University Center for Teaching and Learning and University Library System are available for help with developing grants. The submission deadline is Oct. 12, 2018.

For information about proposal submission, visit the provost office’s funding application page. To learn more about open educational resources, visit University Library System Course & Subject Guides: Open Educational Resources.
