Register for Pittsburgh Regional Faculty Symposium

On Monday, March 11, the University will host the second annual Pittsburgh Regional Faculty Symposium, with activities in David Lawrence and Wesley W. Posvar halls.

Organized by the Pittsburgh Council on Higher Education, the daylong conference aims to build regional faculty collaboration, showcase teaching practices through posters and presentations and help faculty discover new practices for use.

The conference will feature interactive workshops, lunch activities and a book giveaway. A keynote address will be delivered by Sarah Rose Cavanagh, associate director of the D’Amour Center for Teaching Excellence at Assumption College, whose research explores emotion regulation as it relates to same-day and semester-long learning.

Registration for the event is now open and costs $25. The deadline to register is Monday, Feb. 25.
