There are already some great shots of this year's United Way activities, which you can view on the Pitt campaign's website. Send photos of your department's fun events so that they can be added to the gallery.

Affinity groups for young professionals

The United Way offers two affinity groups for young professionals who make contributions and want to become active in the community:

United Way LINC (Lead, Impact, Network, Change) gives young professionals a chance to share knowledge, apply skills and volunteer around their communities while they network. It is open to members who are 30 years old and under and who make an annual contribution of $250 or more to the United Way Impact Fund. Details about the LINC group are available via PDF.

Bridges Society is open to professionals under the age of 45 who commit to donating $1,000 or more to the United Way. In addition to networking and volunteer opportunities, this affinity group offers the opportunity for a voice in determining the values we hold in the community. Read more about the BRIDGES Society in the PDF brochure.

How to donate

The United Way Campaign website has information about how you can donate to support the Pitt campaign.

Options include payroll deduction, credit card, check or even by mail.

Donors can contribute to the United Way Impact Fund, through which the United Way targets funds to support the local agencies that serve populations facing the most critical current needs, or donors can instead choose from hundreds of local and regional organizations to direct their contributions toward.
