Walton to Retire After More Than Four Decades at Pitt

After a more than 40-year career with the University, Chief Information Officer Jinx Walton has announced her intent to retire in early February 2019. Walton is responsible for the strategic implementation of technology to further the goals of the University and to support the efforts of students, faculty and staff across Pitt's five campuses.

Trustees Compensation Committee Approves Officer Salaries

The Board of Trustees compensation committee approved a 2.25 percent salary increase for Chancellor Patrick Gallagher and five officers who hold key leadership positions within the University. The salary adjustments are consistent with the cost-of-living and merit increases applied to the faculty and staff earlier this year.
