If you have books, electronics, clothing, toys, home goods or sports equipment that you don’t have use for, consider donating them to support the United Way of Southwestern PA in Pitt’s annual Re-Gift and Thrift Sale.

The event will take place on Friday, Jan. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cathedral of Learning Commons Room. Cash or check payment will be accepted and shoppers should bring their own bags. Proceeds will benefit the Pitt 2018 United Way Campaign.

How to Donate Items for the Sale

Donations will be accepted in Soldiers and Sailors, O’Hara and Posvar garages on Wednesday, Dec. 12, and Thursday, Dec. 13 and Wednesday, Dec. 19, and Thursday, Dec. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Items should be in either new or gently used — but clean — condition and include most household items, but no furniture please!

Additional drop offs will be accepted on Wednesday, Jan. 2, and Thursday, Jan. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Cathedral of Learning, Croghan Schenley Room (Room 156).
