Applications for Panthers Forward Due Sept. 22

If you know a senior student on the Pittsburgh campus, encourage them to not miss out on a chance for up to $5,000 in federal student loan relief. Applications for Panthers Forward close on Sunday, Sept. 22.

The program is open to full-time Pitt seniors on the Pittsburgh campus who will graduate in spring 2020, are in good standing with the University and received federal student loans during the 2019-20 academic year.

If you apply and are accepted into the program:

  • Panthers Forward will offset up to $5,000 of your eligible federal student loan balance.
  • Once you graduate, you’ll be asked — but not required — to “pay it forward” to Panthers Forward to help support Pitt students who are following in your path.
  • You’ll have access to a network of Pitt alumni ambassadors who will serve as mentors dedicated to your professional success.

Apply online now through Sunday, Sept. 22.
