Benefits Open Enrollment for Full-time Faculty, All Staff Continues Through May 15

Open enrollment for full-time faculty and all staff for the 2019-20 plan year is now open through Wednesday, May 15. This year, the Office of Human Resources’ (OHR) Benefits Department will host two webinars about available benefits, as well as several information fairs at the Pittsburgh and regional campuses.

Open enrollment is employees’ once-per-year opportunity to make changes to the benefits they have elected. Now’s the time to review elections and ensure that listed dependents and beneficiaries are current.

Visit the human resources website for all enrollment information, including resources and tools to help you get started. Download the announcement letter mailed to all eligible employees and a benefits highlight pamphlet for more details about what’s new this year.

Live webinars, information fairs and courtesy computers

Developed to answer questions employees may have about navigating the open enrollment process or making benefit decisions, a live webinar, “A Guide to Your Benefits at Pitt,” will be presented on Wednesday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to noon and Thursday, May 9, from 2 to 3 p.m. Register online for these sessions.

Employees who would like to meet with vendors and have their questions answered can attend one of several in-person information fairs. Check out the University Events Calendar for more information about locations, dates and times of these events.

For those who would like assistance in enrolling or making changes to current elections, OHR will make courtesy computers available in Craig Hall. Additionally, benefits representatives will be present to answer any questions and provide further assistance.
