Call for Nominations for Sheth Distinguished Faculty, Alumni Awards

Since 2012, the Sheth International Achievement Awards at the University Center for International Studies (UCIS) have recognized faculty and young alumni for their contributions to the world. Nominations for the 2019 Sheth Award are being accepted for this year’s awards through June 1.

The Sheth Distinguished Faculty Award for International Achievement recognizes current, full-time Pitt faculty members with significant records of achievement for their international work. Faculty or staff who would like to nominate a colleague can use the online form. UCIS will contact nominees considered as finalists for further information.

Additionally, a Sheth International Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes international Pitt alumni for contributions to the international community. For further information about the young alumni award, revuew the call for nominations at the UCIS website.

The awards were established by Pitt alum Jagdish N. Sheth (BUS ‘62G, ‘66G) and his wife Magdu through the Sheth Family Foundation.
