Claim a Free Energy Efficiency Kit Through Oct. 31

In coordination with Duquesne Light Company (DLC), the University's Facilities Management Division is working to distribute energy efficient lighting equipment to all University members who use DLC as a service provider.

Students who live in Pitt housing will receive two LED lightbulbs. For employees and students who live off-campus, the kit will include eight LED lightbulbs and two night lights. To be eligible to receive either package, recipients must use Duquesne Light’s services.

To request your energy efficiency package, you must complete an online survey. Note that if you live in non-Pitt housing, you will also be asked to enter your DLC account number, which can be found on your electricity bill if DLC is your service provider.

This program will run through Oct. 31. Kits will be delivered in six to eight weeks.
