Fall 2019 Flu Shot Clinics Scheduled

Flu season is approaching and all faculty and staff (as well as their dependents) are encouraged to get a flu shot to help stay healthy. In particular, faculty and staff who work in health sciences or have any type of exposure to patients should consider getting the vaccination.

Starting Sept. 18 and taking place throughout fall 2019, flu shot clinics are available at both the Pittsburgh and regional campuses. Pitt faculty and staff with UPMC Health Plan coverage can receive a shot at no cost and earn a wellness incentive credit. Faculty and staff must have their UPMC Health Plan card (or member ID, if they’re accessing this information from a phone or tablet) when attending a clinic.

Access the full schedule of clinics — including dates, times and both Pittsburgh campus and regional campus locations —  at the Office of Human Resources' website.

Off-campus flu shots

Faculty and staff with UPMC Health Plan coverage who can’t make it to an on-campus clinic can get a flu shot from a participating provider at no out-of-pocket cost. Details on how to take advantage of this benefit are also available on OHR's website.
