A simple fingerstick test can reveal information about blood pressure and glucose levels, as well as total, HLD and LDL cholesterols and triglycerides. Participants can also earn health incentive credit for this activity.

Clinicians will go over results with participants and make recommendations to maintain health. Note that biometric screenings are not intended to take the place of an annual check-up with a primary care physician.

For more information and directions regarding the screening process and how to register, visit the University calendar. Read more — including answers to FAQs about the screenings — at the Office of Human Resources’ website.
