Science2018: From A to Z will feature presentations by nearly 50 Pitt researchers, poster sessions highlighting student and faculty research, a showcase of the latest Pitt-generated health care technologies, four plenary presentations by leading national researchers and much more.
The three-day event is designed to showcase the region’s academic strengths in science, engineering, medicine and computation and to highlight some of the incredible research going on in these areas. It also is intended to demonstrate how this research can be a catalyst for regional economic development; foster collaboration among academic and industrial scientists; and promote the idea that science can be interesting, exciting and fun.
The University-wide conference will take place in Alumni Hall and the adjacent Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center on October 17–19. Science2018 is free and open to the public.
