Coming next week, on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, Pitt will launch Talent Center, the University’s new talent acquisition, recruiting and onboarding system. Talent Center is part of the cloud-based HR, payroll, and financial platform Pitt Worx.
Timeline
Before the new system goes live, PittSource will have an outage period from Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m. to Monday, Dec. 17, at 9 a.m. During this time, PittSource users, Office of Human Resources and job applicants will not have access to the system.
Talent Center will launch Dec. 17, at 9 a.m., along with a brand-new applicant career website.
Some of the improvements hiring managers and job candidates will see once Talent Center is launched include:
- Applicants will experience a modern and more efficient application process.
- Timely status notifications for all throughout the application process.
- Electronic offer letters will be sent to candidates for their e-signature.
The Office of Human Resources is pleased to bring this innovative system to the University community. Feedback is welcomed throughout this process and more details will be shared in the coming months.
