Scholarship Opportunities for Engineering Sustainability 2019

Assistant professor-level junior faculty members interested in attending the Engineering Sustainability 2019 (ES19) conference, taking place April 7-9 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, can apply for National Science Foundation-funded scholarship opportunities.

To be considered by the ES19 organizing committee for scholarship funding, applicants for funding should have research interests or expertise in sustainable engineering. A maximum of up to $1,000 per applicant for travel, hotel and registration will be considered.

Apply using the ES19 NSF application form. The deadline for applications is Friday, Feb. 8, and awards will be announced by Thursday, Feb. 14.

Hosted by the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation at Pitt’s Swanson School of Engineering, the conference features engineers and scientists whose research and practice are directed at development of environmentally sustainable buildings and infrastructure.
