Staff Council Lunch and Learn: Embracing the World at Pitt

The Year of Pitt Global

The Year of Pitt Global is intended to celebrate Pitt being at home in the world and promote the University as a global convening point. Through events like the University Library System’s Silk Road exhibit and series and the international student career conference, the initiative seeks to engage the Pitt community in dialogue and activities that advance Pitt’s global pursuits.

Join Staff Council for a lunch and learn as Executive Director of Global Engagement at the University Center for International Studies Belkys Torres speaks about the resources that support Pitt’s international engagements and reputation and the Year of Pitt Global. The event will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the William Pitt Union, Lower Lounge, from noon to 1 p.m. Read more on the event flyer.

Register to attend the lunch and learn to hear more about the role faculty and staff have in helping Pitt embrace the world, as well as the roles of the University Center for International Studies, Office of International Services and Global Operations Support.
