Teaching Center Offers Finals Resources

To support faculty preparing to conduct finals and assess grades using remote resources during the COVID-19 pandemic, the University Center for Teaching and Learning has compiled an array of recorded and virtual workshops and informational resources.

Online assessments, exams and finals

Many faculty members are likely considering ways to ensure instructional continuity in courses and how to modify finals, exams and assessments for online or remote delivery.

The Teaching Center has compiled an archive of recorded webinars on topics including essentials of remote grading, using Blackboard to conduct exams and creating and using rubrics for remote delivery. Each webinar is about one hour in length.

View the repository of recordings across all topics, and learn more about finals and assessments at the Teaching Center’s website.

Additional resources

The Teaching Center’s Instructional Continuity page compiles information for instructors on remote learning and communicating with students, as well as guidance on conducting exams online.

Additionally, it includes links to monitor national, local and university COVID-19 information; ways to locate and review relevant University policies; and information to consult with departments and schools regarding plans to best continue classes.
