United Way Campaign Updates, Prize Winners for Nov. 16

Organizers have shared that the Pitt United Way Campaign has raised more than $456,000 through faculty, staff, retiree and special events donations, pushing the University toward reaching 60 percent of the overall goal.

Donation code supports Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh

The United Way established an impact fund donation code that supports the Our Victims of Terror Fund at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and 100 percent of dollars collected are sent to the fund. Participation online or via pledge form will be counted as part of the Pitt United Way Campaign. Search for the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh - Our Victims of Terror Fund or use the code 14576474.

There are some great photos of this year's United Way activities on the Pitt campaign's website. Send photos of your department's fun events to pittunitedway@pitt.edu so that they can be added.

How to donate

The United Way Campaign website has information about how you can donate to support the Pitt campaign.

Options include payroll deduction, credit card, check or even by mail.

Donors can contribute to the United Way Impact Fund, through which the United Way targets funds to support the local agencies that serve populations facing the most critical current needs, or donors can instead choose from hundreds of local and regional organizations to direct their contributions toward.
