After leading the office for two months in an interim role, David DeJong has been named vice chancellor for human resources. He brings to this role more than 30 years experience at Pitt as a faculty member and executive vice provost.
Ray Jones, clinical associate professor and Mehta Family Faculty Fellow, has been appointed the new director of the David Berg Center for Leadership and Ethics at Pitt Business.

Widely recognized for her work and leadership, Audrey J. Murrell has most recently served as associate dean of the College of Business Administration and director of the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership.
Nicole M. Mitchell has been named the William S. Dietrich II Endowed Chair in Jazz Studies, effective July 1. She also will be the director of the Jazz Studies Program and a professor in Pitt’s Department of Music.
Jay Darr will serve as the director of the University Counseling Center, providing clinical and administrative leadership and vision and strategic direction for the center, which serves a population of more than 28,000 students.
