Former Trustee, Alumnus Terry Laughlin Honored with $2M Gift to University

A $2 million gift to the University has been made the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. The gift will establish the Terrence Laughlin Chair in Finance in the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.

Trustees Compensation Committee Approves Officer Salaries

The Board of Trustees compensation committee approved a 2.25 percent salary increase for Chancellor Patrick Gallagher and five officers who hold key leadership positions within the University. The salary adjustments are consistent with the cost-of-living and merit increases applied to the faculty and staff earlier this year.

Terrence “Terry” Laughlin, a former University of Pittsburgh trustee and vice chairman of Bank of America, died unexpectedly last week. He was 63 years old.
