Two awards of up to $20,000 each will be presented to research in the social, behavioral and policy sciences at the University Center for Social and Urban Research.
The new $4.3 million grant will facilitate the research that interdisciplinary teams do to improve the care, health and quality of life of all persons with disabilities and the families who support them.
The new Pittsburgh Regional Quality of Life Survey, released by the University Center for Social and Urban Research, is intended to help people understand how the attitudes and circumstances of the region's citizens change over time.
