United Way Campaign Updates, Prize Winners for Oct. 19

Pitt United Way Campaign organizers have said that the campaign is off to a great start and that more than $274,000 has been donated to date, which is 36 percent of the University-wide $750,000 goal.

Upcoming events

There are still a few spaces left to participate in the 100,000 Books Campaign's literacy kit making at the Center for Creativity on Friday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to noon. Books will be provided. Sign up online to participate.

How to donate

The United Way Campaign website has information about how you can donate to support the Pitt campaign.

Options include payroll deduction, credit card, check or even by mail.

Donors can contribute to the United Way Impact Fund, through which the United Way targets funds to support the local agencies that serve populations facing the most critical current needs, or donors can instead choose from hundreds of local and regional organizations to direct their contributions toward.
