Enabling Work, Infrastructure Improvements Slated to Begin

Enabling projects supporting the campus master plan and new Wellness & Recreation Center are planned to begin late November. These projects include updates to aging utility infrastructure and a reconfiguration of University Drive. In addition to supporting campus development, this work will create a more pedestrian-friendly and sustainable hillside and provide necessary utility resiliency and redundancy.

During this phase, the stairs to the east of Eberly Hall will be closed from Eberly Hall to University Drive A. Pedestrians will be able to access Eberly from Parkman Avenue. A portion of University Drive A is slated to be closed for enabling project work. All other areas, including the main pedestrian stairs from Irvis Hall to Chevron and University Drive B and C, remain open.

Updates, frequently asked questions and information about future phases will be posted on the Wellness & Recreation website
