Staff Council Hosts Panel Discussion: ‘Flexible Work Arrangements at Pitt’

Staff Council invites Pitt staff members to “Flexible Work Arrangements at Pitt,” a panel featuring four leaders from multiple responsibility areas and units across the University. The event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 20, from noon to 1 p.m. at the O’Hara Student Center Ballroom.

Panelists will share their stories of successful implementation of flexible work arrangements, which can include flexible work schedules, compressed weeks, telecommuting, job sharing and other arrangements. A Q&A will follow.

The panel will include Michele Montag, executive director for staff personnel and senior assistant dean, Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences; Jennifer E. Woodward, vice chancellor for sponsored programs and research operations, Pitt Research; Thomas E. Youngs, director of purchasing services, Purchasing Services Department; and John Kozar, assistant vice chancellor of benefits in the Office of Human Resources.
